Who we are
ugcpeople provides human-shot video clips for ads, Reels, and product demos at ugcpeople.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact hi@ugcpeople.com.
Information used by the service
We store your email address, account name, sign-in method, onboarding answers, saved clips, and purchase records. Your onboarding answers can include your website, how you found us, and what you want to make.
We also process technical information needed to serve and protect the site, including browser requests, IP addresses, session cookies, and error records. Login and checkout limits use hashed identifiers.
Signing in with Google
If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your name, email address, verification status, and a Google account identifier with us. We use these to create or find your ugcpeople account and sign you in. Basic profile information may be included in Google's response; we do not store your Google profile photo.
We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or other Google content. Google sign-in data is used for account access and security, not advertising or AI model training. We do not sell it. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Email codes and cookies
Email sign-in uses a temporary code. We store a hash of that code and use a short-lived browser cookie to bind the request to your browser. Account sessions use a secure, HTTP-only cookie and expire after 14 days. Signing out removes the session from that browser. These cookies support sign-in and security.
Email preferences
We send account emails, including sign-in codes and a welcome message after signup. If you separately opt in during signup, we record that choice for product tips and launch offers. You can unsubscribe from those optional emails using the link in a message or by contacting hi@ugcpeople.com. Unsubscribing does not stop essential account emails.
Payments and service providers
Stripe processes checkout and payment details. We send Stripe your email address and an account reference, and receive payment identifiers and status so we can manage library access, refunds, and disputes. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Cloudflare hosts the site, account database, private media, and login-email delivery. Google processes Google sign-in. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Information may be processed in countries other than your own.
Retention and your choices
Account information, saved clips, onboarding answers, and purchase records are retained to operate your account and manage access. Temporary codes, OAuth states, sessions, and rate-limit records have expiry times. Some records may need to be retained for payment disputes, security, or legal obligations.
You can ask to access, correct, or delete account information by emailing hi@ugcpeople.com. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you. You can also remove ugcpeople's Google connection in your Google Account settings; that does not itself delete your ugcpeople account.
