Four worked edits

A brief. A clip.
A reason for every cut.

See how a human opening can lead into a product demonstration. Follow the footage choices, captions and editing decisions behind four different video concepts.

These are worked examples, not customer campaigns. Storyboards and test plans are proposed; no performance results are claimed.

From the opening to the handoff

Choose the edit you want to unpack.

Each study includes a source reaction, a timed shot sequence, a capture checklist and a focused way to evaluate the draft.

Use the decisions, adapt the details

What should survive your next edit?

For a CSV tool, it is the review step. For a bag, it is the final zipper closing. Choose the moment that answers the viewer’s question, then give it enough space.

Plan your opening test
A task you can show
Record the actual product doing one thing. A reaction cannot supply evidence for a feature, a capacity claim or a personal experience.
A sequence someone can follow
Keep the starting state, the important action and the result connected. Cut pauses without hiding the step that explains the change.
A question for the reviewer
Ask what changed in the video before asking whether they liked it. If they miss the task, revise the demonstration before testing its opening.
