ugcpeople is a collection of existing footage, filmed by people. The current library has 182 clips across 37 creator names. A one-time purchase unlocks library browsing, favorites and original downloads. The ten public samples are compressed previews. They help you judge expressions and movement before buying.
An original is the supplied source file, not a promise that every clip was recorded in the same format. Dimensions and durations vary. Check the individual clip before committing to a layout, especially if you plan to crop a face tightly or fill a large screen.

Pick the shot after you write the next shot
Write the product action first: “Turn a long list into a clean board.” Then choose an opening that makes that action easy to understand. A confused look can introduce the messy list; a surprised expression can introduce the reveal. Neither expression proves that the person used the product.
Watch the full sample. A useful clip may have a neutral lead-in before the expression, or a blink that gives you a natural cutting point. Scrubbing only to the most dramatic frame can hide an awkward movement immediately afterwards.
- Check whether the eyes and mouth stay inside your intended crop.
- Leave clear space for one short line of text.
- Choose an expression that fits the size of the reveal.
- Preview the cut into your own footage, not just the reaction by itself.
A simple first edit
Try a two-second expression, a six-second demonstration and a two-second result. These are starting timings, not a rule. If the action needs longer to understand, give it that time. Remove the reaction if it delays the explanation without adding meaning.
Keep the first export simple. One face, one product action and one closing instruction are enough to find out whether the idea works. You can make more openings from that same middle section later.
When this library is the wrong purchase
Existing footage works when the person sets up a feeling and your own recording provides the evidence. It does not replace a creator holding your exact product, speaking your script or describing their personal experience. For those jobs, commission a suitable shoot.
Read the usage information before placing footage in a client project or a campaign with special rights requirements. A downloaded face is not permission to invent an endorsement.
